The name and picture says it all. The flowers are large and of firm texture, almost waxen, bright yellow throughout with a broad shiny orange rim. When the sun strikes, the orange edge ignites and the garden comes alive.
Few tulips exceed this one in luscious colour. The colours remain undimmed and its crispness undiminished as the spring advances. Splendid in combination with electric blue grape hyacinths. Mid to late spring flowering. Height 60cm.
