A showy and very early blooming tulip that lights up the garden like a burning candle. The petals are glowing golden-yellow streaked red on the outside. Delightful when grown with the blue-flowered bulbs of early spring but they also make quite a show on their own.
In proportion to the overall size, the flowers are huge. When ripe they open out flat in the sun, measuring some 10cm across, resembling water lilies. Perfect in pots too. Height 15-20cm.
