One of the rare fringed double tulips. The colour is a warm pink, the flowers are neat and fully double and edged with a silvery-white fringe. One of the real beauties of the tulip race and indeed a jewel for the connoisseur.
You won’t regret planting a few bulbs about the place. One of the loveliest and most useful tulips to use at the front of the border. It grows 35cm tall, which makes it also a nice subject for growing in pots.
Suggestion: mingles beautifully with with blue grape hyacinths (muscari) to realize a superb late spring picture.
