Hyacinthoides Mixed

Drifts of bluebells or wood hyacinths in mixed pastel hues are beautiful in almost any garden setting and in any situation. Their use as garden plants goes back centuries and their popularity has not waned since. One of our favourite bulb mixtures and quite soon, we hope, yours too.

They do well in humus-rich soil under the canopy of deciduous trees, where they find the neutral or slightly acidic soils that they seem to prefer. Still, they like sun too and no amount is too strong for them, flowering happily in the open border or in the sunny wild garden. Height 35cm.

Suggestion: plant in irregular groups about the skirts of ornamental shrubs (Azaleas, Rhododendrons), absolutely easy and reliable while creating the most exquisite of all delights for early summer.
