Hyacinthoides hispanica White City
Hyacinthoides hispanica White City
Hyacinthoides hispanica White City This lovely wood hyacinth brings us frosty white bells in late spring.
A very adaptable bulb, robust and hardy as iron, tolerating sun or shade and increasing readily. Its long blooming and the great substance of the flower makes it a good choice for difficult areas.
Beautiful when grouped in light woodland and lovely in half-shaded borders among ferns, along woodland walks or used freely in the borders. The richer the soil the larger the plants will grow and the more they will multiply. Height 35cm.
· works well with tall, late-season Tulips (Louvre, Mariette, Merlot, to name a few), the Tulip colours showing of distinctly by the wood hyacinths down below.
· wonderful among low ground-covers or in combination with Bleeding Hearts (Dicentra spectabilis).
