Member of a group of bedding dahlias that became popular with the emergence of some eye-catching new forms. This is one of the best: voted dahlia of the year 1998. Very floriferous, looking particularly effective in groups towards the front border creating a long-lasting display of colour well into the autumn. A logical choice for small gardens, perfect for growing in pots. Height 50-60cm.
Suggestion: Affaire combines wonderfully with such late-flowering narcissus as Tripartite and Thalia, creating a playful spring picture. Set it amongst the dark bronze foliage of Astilbe 'Fanel' which offers it the perfect setting and carmine red flowers to follow on
