Chionodoxa forbesii Pink Giant
Chionodoxa forbesii Pink Giant Upward-facing pink flowers with white centres on 15-20cm stems.
A lovely spright of a flower, showing its beauty for weeks in late winter and early spring. Give it a home under decideous trees and shrubs, where it enjoys sun in spring and dappled shade in summer.
Together with her blue counterpart, this is the best variety for naturalizing. For the greatest effect they should be planted closely and in large enough groups. Once established, it is important to leave them alone year after year to increase their lovely kind in peace.
Suggestion: Use as ground-cover to Narcissus Topolino; they get on well together, needing the same sort of conditions. Or mingle with Narcissus recurvus at planting time. Two seperate shows in one spot!
