Amaryllis Borboleta

A wild beauty with clusters of red-and-green butterfly-like flowers. One of the most fantastic of indoor flowers and certainly one of the most exotic of the amaryllis clan. Growing it will be an exciting horticultural adventure.

Its parents grow wild in the rugged vastness of the Brazilian rain forests and it differs from the hybrid amaryllis in lacking the large size blooms and trimness of figure. Flowers within 6-8 weeks after planting, preferring warm conditions and at least a few hours of sun. Height 60cm.
