One of the great new garden tulips. Long and vase-like flowers of pale rose and yellow with orange lights. When fully open the flowers are enormous with the stems bending slightly under their weight, creating a charming, informal effect.
At 90cm, it’s one of the longest stemmed tulips around. Ideal for cutting. Brings sunshine to the garden in mid to late spring. No prettier tulip grows.
Suggestions: not an easy tulip for combinations. The flowers are changeable in both shape and colour and are best seen against a quiet background. The tall light blue spires of Camassia, however, will manage to bring a cool charm to the planting.
