One of the largest and by far the finest of the dark coloured amaryllis. Rich deep red-purple blooms with an unusual velvety appearance. The flowers are broad and massive and measure up to 15cm or more in diameter.
Like most amaryllis it is easy to grow and not too fussy about it’s room and board. Each bulb will produce at least two stems, carrying a profusion of blooms for weeks. A superb amaryllis that is far too little known. Height 55cm.
