Anemone blanda Blue Shades, daisy-like lavender-blue flowers in lighter and darker shades held above attractive ferny leaves.

One of the most rewarding bulbs for both the late winter and early spring garden, trouble-free and blooming for more than a month. The flowers start off shyly but gather strength as ground temperatures rise in spring. Easy to grow if their simple needs are considered: dappled shade in summer and a soil that never becomes too dry. Perfect as a groundwork for early daffodils and tulips, lovely interplanted with snowdrops, winter aconites and other early friends. Height 10-15cm.
