Actaea, few flowers surpass the charm of the poet's narcissus. Large white petals centred around a neat red-and-yellow cup.
This is the larger 'improved' form of Narcissus recurvus and like its patrents, one of the loviest bulbs we have. There is something about this daffodil that reaches beyond the mere pleasure of the eyes and touches the heart. The large white flowers are visible from afar and its late flowering is a delight. Nor must its spicy fragrance be forgotten. It is grateful for a little shade for at least part of the day. Height 45 cm.
