Fritillaria Meleagris Alba
Couldn't load pickup availability
Exquisite form of the common Snake's Head fritillaria and one of the most delightful white flowers around, lighting up shady nooks and corners like lanterns. By mid-spring each bulb produces one or two nodding bell-shaped flowers held on wiry 20-30cm stems.
Growing wild through most of Europe, from Russia to France, England, Holland and Scandinavia. It does best in sun or partial shade in soils containing adequate humus and never becoming too dry. Given a fairly damp situation it nearly always endures and increases by seeding itself generously.
Suggestion: combine with other woodland spring-flowering bulbs such as anemone nemerosa, bluebells, corydalis solida and small daffodils.
We ship within Europe using reliable and trackable delivery services. Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt. For full details on shipping rates, delivery times, and return instructions, please see our Shipping Information page.
