This lovely tulip has been splashing sunshine in cold spring gardens for quite some time. The large soft orange flowers are often tinged green and seem to radiate, warmed by a golden glow from the heart of the flower.
It has the proud poise and early-flowering habit of all the Emperor tulips and is a real addition to any garden. It does not fade in the sun and lasts for a much longer period than most tulips. Fine for growing in pots. Height 45cm.
Suggestion: creates lovely pictures with blue and orange hyacinths and yellow trumpet narcissus, bringing different shapes, colours and fragrance to the planting.
