Glowing yellow flowers with brilliant red flames in striking contrast. The flowers are huge and vase-like, with the petals reflexing slightly as they mature. One of the most brilliantly coloured tulips in existence, setting the border aflame in mid-spring.
A variety of the Darwin Hybrid clan: hardy, rugged and free-flowering, returning for years in a sunny spot. Perfect for where a bright flash of colour is needed, the flowers holding out well in sunshine. Height 50cm.
Suggestion: drifts of blue Muscari or blue and purple Hyacinths will add a welcome touch to the planting.
