The spoiled child among tulips. An astonishing plant with great bowls of violet-pink flowers stacked high with a fluffy mass of snow-white petals. A strangely beautiful and spectacular flower, different in shape from any other tulip.
Try them for high spots in the front border where they are sure to create an arresting spectacle. Or grow them in large pots which will enable you to protect the open flowers against heavy spring rains. A unique tulip that refuses to look like a tulip. Mid to late spring-flowering. Height 30cm.
Suggestion: very effective when interspersed with blue grape hyacinths (Muscari).
