Dutch crocuses never fail to please after a long cold winter. Freely planted, they proclaim in colourful drifts that spring is on its way. Large goblet-shaped flowers in a mixture of white and purple. No garden should be without them.
From the bare earth they arise, cool, serene and unafraid; a lovely gesture of the early spring. Splendid in clumps in the garden or they may be allowed to naturalize among ground-covers, under shrubs and high-branched deciduous trees. Height 10cm.
Suggestion: great planted in grass, their ideal location. Don't cut the crocus foliage until it starts to die back, which means skipping the first couple of mowings.
