An artistic tulip of brilliant orange with deep purple flames and marks. No finer colour arrangement could come from the artist’s palette. It is shorter and stockier than most tulips and for that reason ideal for gardens where space is limited.
Much appreciated by flower arrangers but it has become popular as a bedding tulip and, more recently, as a bulb for growing in pots. Here in Amsterdam it bursts into flame by mid-April lasting for almost a month. Height 45cm.
