Hoop Petticoat. A free-flowering and jolly little bulb from the Pyrenees, different in form and effect from any other daffodil. Coming across it in early spring one is almost startled at their resemblance to little yellow skirts dancing in the wind.
The little flowers mixed with grass-like foliage are very ornamental. Planted against a hedge or spread in loose drifts in rough grass it will displays its beauty for weeks on end. It does best in not-too-dry soil with shelter from the sun during the hottest part of the day. Height 15cm.
