Darwin Hybrid tulips are strong, dependable and always create an impact. We blended a fine fiery-red with a good golden-yellow. Large showy flowers of excellent substance, rugged, enduring and easily grown.
Remaining in good condition through any weather, fair and foul, holding rank, eyes front and not a button out of place. Excellent for highlights in the border or for mass effects in distant beds. On sunny days they open wide to reveal beautiful black centres. They grow knee-high and bloom for weeks in mid-spring.
Suggestion: give them blue grapes (Muscari) clustering at their feet, together they make an incredible beautiful show that will repeat itself for years in a sunny location. Remember, all these bulbs share a preference for well drained soil and sunshine.
