A fine lavender-blue of good form and splendid stem edged with a silvery-white fringe. The goblet-shaped flowers are paler within creating a sort of sheen which brings a handsome effect.
Excellent grown by itself for its quiet charm to be fully appreciated. Evergreens or shrubs would make a splendid backing. In addition to its other charms it so one of the latest tulip to bloom, thus prolonging the tulip season. Height 70cm.
Suggestion: tall late-flowering tulips like the black Queen of Night and the white Maureen make good company. It can also be paired with Spanish Bluebells for a charming late-spring picture in light shade.
