Upon opening each 25cm stem carries several double flowers of soft lemon-yellow, finely edged red. As the flower ages, which it does gracefully and well, the colour changes to ivory-white and a dark purple rim.
A newcomer to the garden that will surely find a warm welcome. Planted in groups you will see flowers at different stages, creating a wonderful effect. Give it a place towards the front of the border or grow them in pots, they are lovely for that purpose. Early-spring flowering.
Suggestion: distribute some Anemone Blue Shades among them at planting time and prepare for a delightful small picture. Don't be stingy on the Anemones for you need them in quantity to have an effect.
