Mounds of graceful fern-like leaves crowned in mid-spring with starry blue-lavender flowers that sway on slender stems in the slightest breeze. Where happy it soon spreads into nice clumps, very bright and smiling on a mid-spring day.
Perfect as a ground-cover under trees and shrubs. What it really likes is a cool semi-shaded location with a soil that is rather damp than dry. The flowers are long-lasting and that is quite a claim for a plant in light shade. Height 15-20cm.
Suggestion: perfect in combination with yellow and white Narcissus such as Galactic Star, Thalia or Tripartite.
Suggestion: beautiful among hosta's in light shade.
